IRON JAWED ANGELS POSTER

In celebration of Women’s Equality Day we collaborated once again with the KY Commission on Women, the Owensboro Human Relations Commission and the Owensboro Museum of Science and History to screen the film Iron Jawed Angels.

This stirring film brings home the gritty struggle of the exceptional women who fought so hard for the rest of us to gain the right to vote. It was especially significant that Girls Inc. brought girls from both their sites to witness and learn from this event.
